Solomon Alfapada has been blessed to be a student of filmmaking since the age of 16. Solomon started as an intern at Olelo Public TV and a student at Searider Productions. After graduating high school, Solomon studied Digital Filmmaking at he Art Institute of California – Los Angeles, earning his Bachelors Degree in 2007. He soon returned to Hawaii and joined Makaha Studios. Solomon specializes in Directing, Cinematography, and Editing. His portfolio ranges from Commercials/PSA’s, music videos, to short and feature length documentaries and films. Solomon is currently a Digital Storyteller at the Institute for Native Pacific Education and Culture, teaches video production at the NFL YET Boys and Girls Club in Nanakuli, produces original content under Wiseass Entertainment, and is a freelance Producer/Director.
